The neck is the most delicate yet focal supportive part of a body as it creates a connection between the skull and backbone of your body; made up of vertebrae and extending from skull to torso. Neck has got muscles, bones and ligaments that support the movement of the head and connects the middle and lower body with the upper body and allow for motion. Therefore, it sustains much pressure and any type of abnormality or inflammation in the ligaments, muscles or tissues, or an accidental injury can negatively impact the movement of the neck resulting in pain and stiffness. The presence of cervical discs are for the purpose of absorbing shocks between the bones of the neck and any swelling or increased external pressure or fatigue on muscles can cause immobility or stiffness of the neck.

We at My Pain Clinic specialize in treating such pains emerging from the neck region and addressing the most commonly asked question of What a Pain in Neck?
